DIRECTORS' REPORT (CONTINUED) PETER NANKERVIS Peter has more than 30 years experience in accounting, financial and commercial roles with BHP and Cadbury Schweppes. Peter has been Finance Director of Cadbury Schweppes Australia Limited and Chief Financial Officer for Cadbury Schweppes Asia Pacific. He has also been a member of the Cadbury Schweppes Global Senior Finance Committee and a member of the Asia Pacific Audit Committee. Peter also served as a Trustee Director and Chairman of the Superannuation Fund. Peter is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Onesteel Limited’s Audit and Compliance Committee, a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee at Mitchell Communication Group Limited and a member of Visy Industries’ Audit Committee. Appointed November 2005 Chair – Audit and Risk Management Committee STEPHEN O’ROURKE With a background in commerce and accounting Stephen has been working for the Murray Goulburn Co-operative since 1987, in roles including Company Secretary, Financial Controller and Finance Director. Since 1998, Stephen has been the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He was previously a Director of the Australian Dairy Corporation (1998–2003). Appointed July 2003 PAT ROWLEY Pat retired as a director pursuant to rule 31.5 of the Constitution at the end of the AGM held on 24 November 2006. COMPANY SECRETARY MARTIN BEDE Martin has degrees in commerce and law and was in private legal practice for 8 years. He worked as Internal Review Manager for the Dairy Adjustment Authority for 4 years prior to becoming the Legal Manager for Dairy Australia. Martin is an Affiliate of Chartered Secretaries Australia. These activities are aimed at developing and driving industry services and innovation for the ultimate benefit of dairy levy payers.
